It is hardly original to adore Kappa Horn, the diner’s owner. She probably was the first to reopen after Katrina, and the first to feed the soldiers and relief workers who descended on a bereft city. Those are not the reasons to go to this delightful daylong breakfast place, however; go for the food and the cheer. Speaking of which, we cannot wait until Goodies adds a bar. Kappa is the bomb.
