The recipes in this chain descend from Edwardian Glamour Cooking (Without Tears), a delightful if strange little book by an unjustly forgotten aesthete, Oswell Blakeston, aka ‘Simon,’ aka Henry Joseph Hasslacher. The recipes reflect Blakeston’s fixation with pulverization.
